Wicklow, best known as the "Garden of Ireland" gets its name from its surrounding greenery. Wicklow is at the heart of Ireland's Ancient East. Located only thirty minutes South of Dublin it has mountains, cliffs, sandy beaches, hidden lakes, bogs and friendly villages. Glendalough's 6th Century monastic site will have you following on in the footsteps of St Kevin. Explore Wicklow Jail and experience the troubled times of the Irish Rebellion that took place back in 1798. Wander around and get lost in the beautiful gardens of Powerscourt and if you've time, grab a photo at the largest waterfall in Ireland.
