What this site is
Trips That Fit publishes research into how tours, experiences and accommodation actually work for families of five or more. It is an information site. We are not a travel agent, tour operator or booking platform, we do not hold inventory, we take no payment from travellers, and we cannot make, change or cancel a reservation. Bookings are completed with the operator or platform we link you to.
Accuracy and limits — experiences
Experience information comes from the Viator Partner API and is refreshed daily, with the date we last read it shown on the page. Pricing models, age bands, group limits, inclusions, cancellation terms and accessibility notes are all published by the operator, not verified by us, and operators change them without notice.
Prices shown are the operator’s advertised “from” price on the date stated — not a quote, not an offer, and not a price we can honour. Where we show what a party would pay, that figure is an arithmetic estimate from the advertised price and is labelled as one; fare bands, dates, party composition and supplier changes all move the real total. We publish no availability. Your actual price and availability are confirmed by the operator at checkout, and that figure governs.
A published age limit or group cap is the operator’s statement of their own policy. It is not a guarantee that your party will be accepted, and an unpublished limit is not permission.
Accuracy and limits — accommodation
Room information is summarised from each property’s own published material on the verification date shown on each card. Properties change their rooms, occupancy rules and policies without notice, and published information is sometimes incomplete or wrong at source.
Published capacity is what the property states. It is not a booking guarantee and it does not confirm that a room is available, bookable, or permitted for your specific party on your specific dates. Occupancy rules frequently depend on children’s exact ages. We do not show live prices or availability. Always confirm the final details with the property or your booking provider before you book. Our calculations
Fit verdicts, party price estimates, distances, walkability notes, composed itineraries, fixed-bed counts and suitability scores are our own calculations from published information, offered as opinion to help you compare options. They are not statements of fact about an operator or property, not endorsements, and not advice. Where a calculation depends on something the supplier did not publish, we say so rather than assume.
Ratings and reviews
Ratings, review counts and star histograms are collected by Viator and Tripadvisor and displayed with attribution. We do not collect, moderate or verify reviews, and we do not present them as our own. Where a large experience carries a meaningful share of one- and two-star reviews we say so, but that too is a reading of someone else’s data.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the content is accurate, complete or current. To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the site, including any booking decision.
Outbound links and commission
We link to third-party sites we do not control and are not responsible for their content, terms or practices — including Viator, whose own terms govern any booking you make there. Some links earn us a commission at no extra cost to you, and commission never affects what appears or how it is ordered; see our Affiliate Disclosure.
Intellectual property
Our research, structured data, written explanations and calculations belong to Trips That Fit. Operator and property names, trade marks, descriptions and photographs belong to their owners and appear here for identification and to describe what is offered; their appearance implies no affiliation or endorsement in either direction. Experience content and imagery are supplied through the Viator Partner API and remain the property of the operators and of Viator. Photography we source ourselves is used under its stated licence and credited on the page.
Acceptable use
Please don’t scrape the site at volume, republish the dataset wholesale, or use it to build a competing database. Reasonable personal use, quoting with attribution, and linking are all fine.
