The short version
We do not ask you to create an account, we do not ask for personal details to use the site, and we do not sell data. The family details you enter in the search form are used in your browser to choose which of our pages to show you.
What we collect
Analytics
If analytics are enabled we use Google Analytics 4, and optionally Microsoft Clarity, to understand which pages people find useful. These collect standard technical information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device type, and referring site. IP anonymisation is enabled for Google Analytics. We use this in aggregate; we do not use it to identify individuals.
Family search inputs
The destination, number of adults and children, and children’s ages you enter are used to route you to the right page. If analytics are enabled, the group size and ages may be recorded as an event so we can see which family configurations people are looking for. We do not attach this to a name, email address or account, because we hold none.
If you email us we hold your message and address in order to reply.
What we do not collect
- No accounts, passwords or profiles
- No payment details — we never take payment
- No booking data; we have no access to any reservation you make
- No advertising or cross-site tracking pixels
Cookies
The site itself sets no cookies. If analytics are enabled, Google Analytics and Clarity set their own cookies; you can block these with your browser settings or an extension and the site will work normally.
Third parties
Following an outbound link to a property or booking provider takes you to their site, governed by their privacy policy. If the link is an affiliate link, the provider may set a cookie to attribute a booking to us — see our Affiliate Disclosure.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. Since we hold almost none, this usually means email correspondence. Contact us at hello@tripsthatfit.com.
Children
This site is intended for adults planning family travel. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Children’s ages entered in the search form are used to pick a page and are not tied to any identity.

If this policy changes we will update the date above.
