About this experience

Escape the hustle and bustle of Dublin City for one day as we take you on a private whiskey adventure to the midlands of Ireland, to the real Irish countryside. As you cruise through rural Ireland, enjoy the lively commentary from your Whiskey Specialist Host. First stop is Old Kilbeggan Distillery, one of Ireland’s oldest distilleries which is still producing their world famous Kilbeggan whiskey. We like to travel the secondary routes, avoiding motorways. Next, we stop in Athlone. Some free time included, we'll make sure you have good recommendations for lunch. Athlone is home to Ireland's oldest pub - Sean's. We'll regroup here after lunch for a visit. Next , we travel not far to Tullamore, home to the world's second biggest Irish whiskey brand. The Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery Experience Tour is an unforgettable visit for whiskey fans.

    Without doubt one of the most special distillery experiences in Ireland. A time capsule! A visit to the original distillery is a most memorable experience, and then you will be treated to a walk through the micro-distillery which is only operational since 2007, but feels like it has been operational for much longer!
